The EHS annual scientific retreat was successfully held virtually through Zoom from 8:20 am to 1 pm on September 28th, 2020.
Thirty-five EHS students, staff, and faculty members attended this event. Dean Bernadette Boden-Albala started with her vision of the Public Health Program/School and the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health. Dr. Rufus Edwards followed with a keynote speech entitled “Research during COVID.” Four faculty members highlighted their research programs, and seven graduate students gave their research in progress presentations. An alumnus of the EHS program, Dr. Andrew Keebaugh shared his experience and answered questions on his PhD life at UCI and his career path afterwards.
